Notice of Changes

Bulletin table changes

To make them more helpful, March 2019 columns have been included in Tables 1a and 1b of the Primary Care Workforce, England - collated full-time (FTE) Direct Patient Care staff Excel file. Previously the March 2019 FTE was only available in the accompanying CSV.

As Table 1a presents the net change in FTE since March 2019, all figures in the March 2019 column in that table are zero.

Change to baseline FTE at sub-England level due to mapping correction

As part of the June 2022 release, the collated full-time equivalent CSVs from all reporting periods back to September 2021 were reproduced and republished, with PCNs mapped to the new regional structure which came into effect on 1st July 2022.

One PCN (U48923 - SWB Urban Health) which was affected by this reconfiguration was omitted from this process in error. For this release, it has been mapped correctly to its Sub-ICB Location and ICB as at 1 July 2022.

This has resulted in 1.2 healthcare assistant FTE moving from NHS Black Country ICB (QUA) to NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB (QHL) in the CSV accompanying this release compared to earlier files.
