In quarter 3 of 2020-21 the number of maternities with an unknown smoking status is 1.8%. This is an increase of 0.8 percentage points on Q2 2020-21.

The following five CCGs recorded 5% or more of their maternities with an unknown smoking status:

NHS Herefordshire (65.4%)
NHS Milton Keynes (29.2%)
NHS Coventry and Rugby (5.3%)
NHS West Suffolk (5.2%)
NHS Bassetlaw (5.0%)
