Care Identity Management (CIM) is replacing the Care Identity Service application. As part of this work, we are switching off certain features in the old service, and only making them available in the new service.
The first feature to be switched off is Smartcard Unlocking.
On 31 January, all smartcard unlocking must be done in Care Identity Management or the new Self Service Unlock.
Drop-in sessions
We're running informal online sessions for smartcard unlockers and anyone else who wants to know more about Care Identity Management (CIM). You are welcome to attend any or all sessions, and share with your colleagues.
The first half of the session will be to show how to use CIM to unlock. The second part will cover any other questions about CIM or troubleshooting any problems.
