How to access this service
To access CSMS you will need:
- an NHS smartcard or Microsoft Authenticator
- correct access permissions on your Care Identity profile
- to complete CSMS online training (optional)

This service is live.
This is a silver service, meaning it is available and supported during business hours 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday but not bank holidays. Major incidents can be logged outside of core hours via the NHS England Customer Portal.
