Where to get information to complete a DBS check for an employee who shared credentials

Staff can share an identity credential, right to work credential (if they're a UK or Irish national) and a DBS credential. However, these credentials do not always provide all the information required to complete a new criminal record check.

The identity service provider is sometimes unable to verify all the required information, such as a staff member's address.

You will need the staff member to come to you in person to provide any missing information.

We are currently working with the identity provider to resolve this issue, which we are targeting for autumn 2024.
