Accessing the e-RS application

How to gain access to the e-RS web-based application in the path to live environment.

1. Select the path to live environment

Enter the URL for the relevant e-RS environment in your browser address bar.

2. Select your login method

You will be asked to authenticate using one of the accepted CIS2 authenticator options.

Select a method and follow the step-by-step authentication process on screen.

3. Select your organisation

After successfully authenticating with NHS CIS2, you will be required to select your test referring (GP practice) organisation.

This will have been supplied to you either by the test data or e-RS partners team.

4. Select your role

Depending on the authorised user, there may be one or more available roles to choose from.

To start creating referrals in e-RS you will require the referring clinician or referring clinician admin role.

The e-RS application will then load.
