Perinatal Pathology Data Collection

This data collection gathers information directly from Perinatal Pathology providers to understand the capacity and demand on the perinatal pathology service, and the turnaround times for post-mortem investigations. The data supports the monitoring of service delivery, informs service improvements, and enables providers and commissioners to work together to mitigate operational risks and issues relating to the service.

Some of the data is shown on dashboards, hosted in National Commissioning Data Repository (NCDR), which are accessible to providers and relevant commissioners.

Each week, the submission window opens on Monday morning and remains open until 5pm on the Thursday. Registered users will have access to the exact dates in the Data Collections Framework.

Registered data submitters of the data collection may receive emails to remind them to submit data if they have not done so by Wednesday.
