Logging in to the employee portal

How to access a trust's employee portal using your NHS Digital Staff Passport login details.

Select the link for the trust whose portal you want to log in to from the list of registered trusts. If you're not sure which portal to select, see our guidance on choosing the right employee portal.

The link will take you to the login screen for that trust.

Note: you will need to have downloaded an access key for your trust’s employee self-service portal before you log in for the first time.

Scan the QR code using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone. To get to the scan function, select 'Verified IDs' in the bottom-right of the screen, then the scan icon in the top-right of the screen.

Alternatively, if you’re using your smartphone rather than a computer to complete this process, you can select the green button to connect to Microsoft Authenticator app.

The Authenticator app will notify you that you can return to the previous application. When you return to your browser, the screen will refresh to show you are logged into your trust’s employee self-service portal.
