I cannot download an access key

What to do if you see a message saying that you have 'no access key credential to collect'.

The issue

You have followed a link from an email sent from Digital Staff Passport to collect an access key and you see the message 'No access key credential to collect'.

The cause

There was a temporary issue between Digital Staff Passport and the service providing email notifications (GOV.UK Notify).

This has now been fixed, but links to Digital Staff Passport in emails that were sent during the issue will not work.


What to do

Find a newer Digital Staff Passport email that has a link to download an access key or link to log in.

If you do not have a new email or the link still does not work, contact your HR or recruitment team and ask them to provide you with a new access key. Once they provide you with a new access key you'll get an email with a working link.
