Part of National Patient Prescription Tracking Service supplier and pharmacy guidance
Share your experience: pharmacy user research
We strongly encourage pharmacy sites to participate in user research as part of the rollout. Your engagement will help us assess how the service integrates into existing workflows and identify improvements that enhance the experience for both pharmacy teams and patients
Research activities for pilot sites
There are two ways sites can take part in research:
1. Prescription enquiry tracking:
This research measures the number of questions you receive about a prescription before and during the pilot. Pharmacies are asked to record the daily number of questions they answer about prescriptions for one week, repeating this exercise three separate times over a defined time period. This research requires minimal additional time and effort to complete.
2. Impact interviews:
This research explores how the pilot affects pharmacy operations and staff experience. Participants will take part in an interview for up to one hour remotely to discuss their experiences. These can be flexible as needed.
How to take part
Pharmacy sites interested in participating in user research should contact Jo Cameron to arrange their involvement or discuss any questions
