Entry and display of date and times
All dates are displayed in the format DD-Mmm-CCYY (12 Apr 2013 for example) but may be accepted in the DD/MM/CCYY format (12/04/2013). All dates entered must be a valid date.
All times entered must be a valid time in the 24 hour clock with the day running from 00:00 (midnight) to 23:59.
Entry and display of NHS Number
All NHS Numbers are displayed in the format 3 3 4 (123 456 7890 for example) but may be accepted in any format.
When searching for NHS Numbers in any search filter the white spaces are not considered to be search characters, and will be ignored in a search.
Allowed characters
The standard character set can be used in the BNA with the exception of |~^&\ .
