For 2024/25 funding of £48m is available to ICBs to fund capabilities relating to Digital Pathways and demand and capacity tools

Previously agreed ICB PCARP commitments (2023/24) will continue to be funded for 2024/25. The total funding of £48m available for 2024/25 equates to an average of 76p per patient, however, requests up to a maximum annual equivalent of 93p per patient will be considered with funding allocated to ICBs on a first-come first-served basis once full details of costs have been received. This allows funding to be applied for as it is required. Please ensure confirmation of funding is granted prior to committing to new buying.

To access the broader set of capabilities and use the PCARP funding:

  • the Hub must be engaged by the ICB to support the buying process (in line with GPIT operating model arrangements) [email protected]
  • allocations will be reimbursed by NHSE upon provision of details of payment made to suppliers by the ICB. Future payments will be reimbursed in the same way until new orders are placed using upcoming DSIC frameworks

The national Accubook contract that was established to support the Covid PCN vaccination programme expires on 30 June 24. This booking capability is a key element of modern general practice and forms part of the suite of funded digital pathway tools. ICBs who utilise this product should engage with the Hub to support them in selecting a tool to ensure continuity.
