Part of Cancer waiting times user guide
Getting started
Registration
Registration for Cancer Waiting Times is a 2-step process. You need to be registered on the Strategic Data Collection Service (SDCS) platform associated with the collection. Then you need to register for a Single Sign On (SSO) account. We use the SSO to authenticate you as a user.
SSO is the process we are using to authenticate you as a user, you will create your own username and password during the set-up process. It is this username and password you will use to log on to SDCS and access Cancer Waiting Times.
Receiving confirmation
Once your information has been processed, and your account created, you will receive an automated email confirming the organisation(s) you have been associated with and containing a link to the CWT system.
If you click on the link within this email you will be taken to the CWT homepage so you can sign into the system.
How to create a Single Sign On (SSO) account
We use the Single Sign On (SSO) account to authenticate users. You will need to create a SSO account the first time you log in. You will still need to register for a CWT SSO account even if you have an existing SSO account for other applications
To register for an account
- Click on the register button and you will be taken to the account creation section.
- Select the create my account button and you will be taken back to the CWT login screen.
Once you have completed your details, click on create my account.
Use the same email address you have used for the SDCS proforma so it can be linked to your SDCS account.
Logging in
Once you have created your SSO account, or if you are a returning user, enter your SSO username and password and click on the Sign in button. You will need to use the user name and password you created the first time you accessed the system.
To check the next submission deadline, use the CWT report generation dates.
The confirm break glass view pop up box allows you to decide if you really do need to view this patient record or if you want to cancel.
