Please select which types of initiatives your organisation currently offers, and the delivery model?
For each type of initiative please indicate whether this is offered by your organisation and select whether it is:
Delivered in-house, by internal staff. There is no external payment for services (although there may be an internal transfer of funds between departments within the same trust).
By another NHS provider. Include any other organisation, funded by the NHS (another NHS trust, ICB, or primary care provider, commissioning support unit, or national body such as NHS England or the NHS Leadership Academy).
By an external training provider, HEI, or consultant (non-NHS) any supplier that your organisation contracts with directly, receives payment for the services delivered, and is not funded by the NHS. It might include, further or higher education providers, private training providers, and consultants.
If there are other leadership or management development initiatives offered by your organisation that are not on the list, please add to the box given.

3.4
How many clinical and non-clinical staff (FTEs) participated in leadership, and management development interventions delivered by your organisation (or via a third-party on behalf of your organisation) in the last financial year? Please provide as accurate a figure as possible.
Please provide as accurate figure as possible for the last financial year (April 2023 to March 2024).
This figure includes any leadership, and management development interventions delivered by your organisation (as defined above) or via a third-party on behalf of your organisation.
A clinical role refers to any healthcare professional who provides direct patient care, and has undertaken specialist training (like medics, nurses, midwifes and allied health professionals, such as physiotherapist, radiographers and counsellors).
Non-clinical roles include a range of roles that do not provide direct patient care, such as administrators, project managers, accountants, IT specialists, caterers, engineers, architects and plumbers.
3.5
Does your organisation conduct any assessment of leadership or management learning needs or gaps?
If yes, please specify how you assess leadership or management learning needs or gaps?
This might include for example, organisational wide, departmental level, or profession-specific learning needs or gaps assessment. It should only include learning needs or gaps specifically related to leadership or management development (or as part of a wider assessment that includes leadership and management).
This might be called a ‘training needs analysis’, a 'learning needs analysis’, or something similar, as long as it assesses leadership and management skills needs and gaps.
