Part of NHS Cervical Screening Management System user guide
Patient summary
NHS NHS Cervical Screening Management System (CSMS) displays the following information within the patient summary tab:
- first name, name and any previous names
- next test due date
- recall status
- address
- non responder count
HPV vaccination record
This section displays existing HPV vaccination records for the participant.
CSMS retrieves HPV Vaccination details from Data Processing Service (DPS).
Test results
All previous cervical screening test results:
- test date
- Cytology result
- HPV infection code
- action
- repeat months
- slide number
- laboratory details
- sender details

GP Information tab
CSMS displays the details of the individuals registered GP practice as known on the PDS:
- practice code
- practice name
- practice address
- practice phone number
Securely logging out
When you have finished your activities, you must securely log out by clicking ‘Logout’ at the top right of the page.
Closing the browser window or removing your Smartcard from the reader will not log you out of NHS CSMS. Your session will remain open until you click 'Logout'.
