View user details

From the list of users, click on a name to view that user’s account details.

On the user detail page, you will see information about:

Status

Every user account has a status, which shows if it being used or not. These statuses are:

• Pending induction: Users with a data analyst role must pass an induction assessment before they can access data through the SDE platform. When a data analyst is added, the user will receive an email with a link to the assessment. The pending induction status shows that this user has not yet passed this assessment

• Activated: After a data analyst user has passed the assessment, their status will change to activated and they will be able to start using the SDE platform. User managers do not need to pass the assessment so these users will show as activated as soon as they are added

• Deactivated: These users do not currently have access to the SDE. Deactivated users are not charged for and can be reactivated at any time

Role

The permissions assigned to the user. Learn more about roles.  

VDI memory size

If the user has a data analyst role, they will have an allocated Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) memory size. This is the amount of memory they have available to use for running data queries on the SDE platform. Users have 4GB as standard but can request larger sizes for an additional charge.

Added to DSA

The date the user account was created.

Induction assessment passed

If the user has a data analyst role, they must pass an induction assessment before they can access the SDE platform. The date shown here is when they passed the assessment.

If a user has more than one account under different DSAs, as long as all of their accounts have the same email address, they will only need to pass the induction assessment once.

Last logged in

The date the user last signed into their account.
